Knee To Toe Podiatry is proud to offer our patients custom made orthotic devices, masterfully crafted by the famous Enertor labs which have the endorsement of high profile athletes such as Usain Bolt.
Custom orthotics can be provided to correct abnormal gait, offload sports injuries or areas of pain and reduce general wear and tear on your joints. Off the shelf devices do have their place but are unfortunately not suitable for everyone. For many conditions a tailor made medical device is the only way to go. During your biomechanical assessment your podiatrist will be able to determine if bespoke orthotics are indeed right for you and will then give you the option to have a cast taken of your feet to get this process started. A prescription will then be written by the podiatrist detailing your specific biomechanical needs. These will together be sent off to the laboratory where your bespoke carbon fibre devices will be crafted.
Usually your orthotics will be crafted and delivered usually within one to two weeks and your podiatrist will provide a fitting session to ensure that they are just perfect.
