It is surprising how many neglect their feet considering they carry us throughout our lives. It is recommended that everyone, regardless of whether they suffer foot or lower limb problems, see a podiatrist at least once or twice a year in order to have their feet checked over. This check would include a vascular assessment (to determine the condition of the blood vessels and to pick up potential heart conditions) and a neurological assessment (to check the sensation of the feet is adequate) as diminished sensation can be an indication that a condition such as diabetes is present. A podiatrist can also check for things a person might not necessarily spot such as verrucae, or malignant melanoma.

After graduating from the University of Plymouth and gaining experience in the NHS setting Joshua left to work in private practice in the city of Exeter to experience in that sector before starting up his own business. It was then that Knee To Toe Podiatry was born providing high quality foot and lower limb treatments for the people of Plymouth and now expanded to the people of Liskeard as well.
